As an author utilizing Rudra World Publications services, you retain full ownership of your book. We function as a publishing facilitator and distributor, operating under a non-exclusive publishing agreement. This means that while we assist in bringing your book to the market, you retain complete control over your content and can choose to publish it elsewhere if desired.
ISBN, or International Standard Book Number, serves as a unique identifier for books, aiding booksellers and libraries in cataloging and organizing publications. Each version of your book, whether in paperback, hardbound, or ebook format, is assigned a distinct ISBN, ensuring accurate identification across various platforms and formats.
Rudra World Publications operates on a Printed-On-Demand (POD) model, printing books based on sales demand to prevent inventory shortages. We collaborate with a network of print partners globally, ensuring timely printing and delivery of your book to buyers. This approach guarantees that the most recent version of your book is readily available whenever it is ordered from the Rudra World Publications Store or other online platforms.
Author earnings from print book sales are computed based on the profit margin, which is the variance between the Manufacturer's Recommended Price (MRP) and the expenses incurred during production and distribution. This equation is represented as Profit = MRP – (Distribution Cost + Production Cost).
For authors utilizing the Rudra World Publications Platform, royalties are set at either 60% or 80% of the net profits per book sale, contingent on the chosen distribution plan.
To illustrate, let's consider a hypothetical scenario where the MRP of a book is Rs.100, and the production cost amounts to Rs.30. In this case, the profits would be calculated as follows:
Profits = Rs.100 - (50 + 30) = Rs. 20.
Therefore, the author's earnings per book, when sold through various online platforms and retail stores, would be Rs.20.
It's important to note that Rudra World Publications imposes a 20% distribution fee on all online store orders to cover payment processing and order fulfillment charges.
If an author selects the India/International Distribution option, they earn 80% of the net profits from sales on the Rudra World Publications Online Store (Rs. 40), and Rs. 16 from sales through other platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.
In the case of Basic Distribution, authors receive 60% of the net profits from sales on the Rudra World Publications Online Store (Rs. 30), with no earnings from sales on other platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.
Earnings for each month are calculated and disbursed within 60 days following the end of the respective sales month, ensuring timely compensation for authors.
